- Speaker, sponsor and panel member for leaders’ meetings, seminars, and courses. Examples of sessions include career management, setting context, and sharing case studies, including exploring the underpinning principles and learnings from those studies.

Advise
Matt provides independent advice, strategic insights, and recommendations to executives.
- Departmental or external reviews including advice on methodology, facilitation of engagement with stakeholders and forensic deep dives on issues or findings.
- Organisational sustainability, capability, governance, priority setting and financials.
- Risks and issues for complex programs that warrant attention, providing clarity and insight.
Matt’s focus is on building the capability of departments and agencies to conduct their own reviews, guiding review teams while concurrently providing independent insights. He positions his advice in the broader context of an organisation, placing issues in perspective and linking advice to broader reform agendas.
Assure
Matt provides insights and assurance through committee leadership and membership.
- Board and committee member roles: member of advisory committees which help inform and guide reform agendas. Independent member of executive and delivery boards, providing strategic insight into governance and risks, constructively questioning senior executives to help shape direction and drive delivery.
- Chair and member of audit and risk committees: professionally trained auditor, financially and company director qualified, with deep and broad committee leadership and audit experience.
- Independent chair of consultative committees to allow clients to assure genuine consultation and therefore position themselves as participants in a meeting. Matt is experienced at chairing senior official meetings, performing statutory chair roles and international representation
